OTI Mexico was recognized as the category-C Superintendent of The Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA) in April of this year.
Together with Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, four OTILATAM branches now hold this international recognition.
OTI Argentina’s Agricultural Operations and collaborator in business development for Latin America, Martín Sobral, on explaining the benefits of the membership, mentioned that: “it broadens the opportunities to work in the commodities export markets of each region”.
As well as driving commercial development, belonging to the GAFTA contributes to being able to offer greater security of the parties – purchasers and vendors- where our operations are conducted, from start to finish, under international standards ands regulations. In the same period, the office in Argentina was audited by the National Food and Agriculture Health and Quality Service (Servicio Nacional de Sanidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria (SENASA)), achieving favorable results with the framework of certification maintenance as a controlling company, a certification agency of grains and sub-products for export.
In this business area, OTI reinforces its presence in the agricultural services.
